Freeport Terminals, Inc.

Freeport Terminals is the Northeasternmost River Terminal on the Inland Waterway Systemsm and a major gateway to the northeast corridor and Canada. By utilizing the inland waterways and Gulf Coast systems, we have received and delivered product to and from all over the United States and as far away as places such as Norway and South Korea. We are situated in Freeport, PA, 29 miles upstream from Pittsburgh on the Allegheny River.

Facility

Our facility is a full service intermodal facility featuring barge, rail, and truck offload and reload capabilities. This all-product facility offers specialization in both liquid and dry bulk handling, storage, and processing.

Established in 1952, we have a 35-acre footprint offering direct barge to truck transfers, ground to barge transfers, and vice versa with significant bulk commodity storage as well as under-roof commodity warehousing. We also have eight million gallons in liquid bulk storage available for truck to tank to barge transfers and vice versa.
